Meet the Wilsonville Diamond Crew!
Bruce; In the mid 80’s a good friend invited me to be his assistant manager of Weisfield’s Jewelers, Medford Oregon. I became a store manager for years, worked in a few western states and became a district manager for Ultra Diamond. After tiring of travel, I returned full time to the Portland jewelry market, settling in later at Carl Greve Jewelers managing the Bridgeport Village location.
In my off time I enjoy the Pacific NW, camping, whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, water and snow sports, plus building and flying small aircraft.
Katie: Katie moved from Montana to the Portland area in 1999 landing an assistant manager job at Ultra Diamond. This is where I met Katie, she had been promoted to store manager in Troutdale and I was her district manager. We moved to Wilsonville together in 2001, I had left Ultra Diamond and Katie managed the Woodburn Ultra Diamond store while I managed Carl Greve jewelers.
Katie has been a distance trail runner accomplishing runs of 25, 40 and 50 miles long! She now spends more of her free time whitewater kayaking, camping, mountain biking, skiing and other activities along with me.
We have two grown children, Nick and Taylor, son-in-law Bryan and two grandchildren Everett and Lainey. They live in central Washington and participate as much as possible in all our outdoor activities and vacations. We utilize out little homebuilt airplane making the trip to see them only one hour away.
Katie and I opened our store in November 2009, when Carl Greve’s business was failing and Piper’s Jewelry had moved out of our location in Wilsonville. We saw the local need and potential for our business, and just a few blocks from our home in Wilsonville. Katie kept her job in Woodburn for only a few months while I got our business off the ground, then joined me in February 2010. Every year has brought new clients and a steady growth. We feel very fortunate!
Tiffany: I first met and worked with Tiffany at Helzberg Diamonds Washington Square, she was my boss then. Like Katie, Tiffany started in the business in 1999. Later Tiffany joined me at Carl Greve where we sold high end jewelry and timepieces. Joining us in 2016 she’s a natural addition to our team at Wilsonville Diamond. Many say she has the perfect name for our business and everyone will say she is a pleasure to know and work with, I agree.
Tiffany is a native Portland area Oregonian, enjoying traveling, fitness training and trying new restaurants. She is married to her husband Kie and has two children the same age as our grandkids, keeping her life full and busy.
Amanda; Adding to our delightful crew is Amanda. She has worked for Fred Meyer Jewelers, Posh Jewelers and Gladstone Antiques. We first met when she was a customer of ours seeking out unique vintage pieces and consigning some of hers with us. Her love for jewelry, knowledge of vintage, and several years of experience prompted us to hire her in December of 2023. Amanda’s kindness and attentiveness glows with every client interaction.
Amanda and her husband Will have two lovely girls only slightly younger than Tiffany’s children. Amanda loves to drive and hike to her favorite swimming holes, going to flower gardens and other places of beauty. Will is also a local business owner in Wilsonville.
Kari; Kari and I have led a parallel life in the jewelry business. She too started at Weisfield’s Jewelers in the ‘80s but in Spokane Washington. We met at Friedlander Jewelers (a branch of the same company) when we both worked there selling fine jewelry and Rolex watches. Later she also worked at Carl Greve Jewelers with Tiffany and I, in fact Kari was the one that recommended me to the upper management! Then Kari went downtown for several years continuing to sell Rolex and high-end jewelry, plus designing top notch custom jewelry. In fact, you will not find a more helpful and experienced custom designer like Kari. We are privileged to have her capability in our store.
Kari and her husband Jon have four children of the same age range as ours and two grandkids are also about the same as ours. They keep a beautiful home overlooking the valley where her family and friends will gather often for BBQ dinner and pickleball. They also enjoy golfing and kayaking around Oregon.
Sapphire; Our newest addition to the crew is our Min Pin puppy Sapphire. Many have known our last pup Hana that came to work with us. She lived a good life of almost 17 years! Sapphire is now becoming an integral part of our business and life. As I write this, she is 4 months old and just over 4 pounds. Please come in to meet her!
Robert; Robert completed his GIA Graduate Gemologist degree in 1982 and is an AGS Certified Appraiser. He has partnered with us since 2022 doing our fine jewelry appraisals. While you will see him in our store, he is not our employee, but an independent appraiser doing business as Reliant Gem Lab. You can trust him to give you an accurate written evaluation of your jewelry items with his lab in our store.
In his free time Robert and his wife Denise enjoy traveling in the Northwest and abroad. He’s also an accomplished cook and baker making treats with Denise. He too has kids, grandkids and granddogs that keep him active.
Steve and Josh; Our quite popular jewelry repair and custom creations are completed by these two master craftsmen. Dating back to Weisfield, Helzberg, Ultra, and Carl Greve, Steve and Josh’s business have always been a critical part of my business team. Logically they were the first to get a call from me when I was opening our own business 17 years ago. With a full repair facility (in a secure location) with laser welding, cad/cam design, 3D printing, milling, casting, and forging there’s not much they can’t do, and they do it right. Every day we enjoy seeing our clients leave happy with their precious piece looking new again, thanks to these two artists.
That’s a combined staff experience of 270 years. But aside from years, I am blessed to be working with such a pleasant team of true friends and family. Rest assured you will experience a warm welcome and unsurpassed service from our knowledgeable crew.

Excellent customer service and repair work. Fair and quick turnaround. Wish more businesses were like them, scarce in today's society.

My now-husband and I couldn't quite find what we were looking for with the pre-designed engagement rings out on the market, so we decided to go totally custom and design a ring from the ground up. Based on a recommendation from a friend that already had a great experience at Wilsonville Diamond, we went in and met with Katie and Bruce, the owners of this independent, local, and family-owned business. We could not have been happier!

First and foremost, Katie and Bruce Eicher are experienced, knowledgeable and reasonable people with whom to do business. Their depth and breadth of fine jewelry expertise is without peer in an otherwise shallow and often questionable industry. Their word is in fact their bond, a rare and noble trait today. Whether seeking quality, exquisite and seldom seen fine jewelry design lines in a saturated market, an unusual or one of a kind estate piece, or the singular original design completed with precious or semi-precious gems, fine metals and a fine design eye for a plethora of styles, the Eicher's Wilsonville Diamond is not to be overlooked. Go see them; you won't be disappointed.
